Outputting a tremendous, 14.1hp is a 586cc. STIGA ST 550 forced-air-cooled, twin-cylinder motor with the globally renowned Swedish brand’s efficiency optimising, fuel saving and noise limiting overhead-valve technology.

A tried and tested V-Twin cylinder configuration delivers maximum torque with minimum vibration; cast-iron cylinder sleeves work with pressurised lubrication to provide reassurance when it comes to long-term reliability.

Thanks to its seven-position cutting height – easy to adjust via an ideally placed lever – the Atco GT 38H Rear-Collect V-Twin Garden Tractor can be set-up to handle varying grass conditions, and is capable of producing the particular finish you’re looking for.

It boasts substantial 457mm-diameter drive tyres, which offer the perfect compromise between surface gentleness and high-grip traction, and it benefits from a tight, 140cm turning circle, which makes it quick and easy to reposition at the end of each pass.

Equipped with a foot-pedal-controlled hydrostatic transmission that lets you accelerate and decelerate – in both forward and reverse – with no need for clunky, time-consuming gear shifts, the Atco GT 38H Tractor Mower is fun to drive, and excels in terms of obstacle and landscaping negotiation.
