Providing You with Extra Protection

All products are supplied with the manufacturer’s full guarantee. This provides you with further protection beyond the extended 30 day cooling off period we offer you, and covers any manufacturing fault that develops during the guarantee period but not wear and tear of the machine.

Unless otherwise stated, the time period given for this guarantee is for normal domestic operation and customers should be aware that use of a product in a commercial environment would normally result in a shorter (or no) warranty period being given by the manufacturer.

Customers should also be advised that some warranties are conditional on an annual service being carried out.

If your product develops a manufacturing fault during the period of guarantee, you may either arrange with us for the product to be collected and examined by our engineers or make use of the manufacturer’s network of service agents around the country.

In the event that a product is returned to us and the fault is found not to be a manufacturing defect, we reserve the right to recover any costs incurred including carriage charges and labour time.

Customers are further advised that the manufacturer’s warranty will not necessarily cover the cost of taking the product to and from the manufacturer’s agent or Compass and Spectre Ltd and that this will normally be the responsibility of the customer. If a machine is replaced within the warranty period either by the same machine or an alternative machine the warranty runs from the original purchase date and does not start again from when the replacement was received.
