Driving the heavy-duty blade system on the voracious Sealey SWC420 is a 420cc, four-stroke OHV engine, which, as you’d expect from a unit with such a substantial cylinder displacement, develops a serious amount of power.
The Sealey SWC420 Petrol Chipper-Shredder turns woody material, including sizeable branches, into woodchips, which can be used either for mulching purposes, or for surfacing pathways and other high-footfall areas.
A direction-adjustable discharge chute means you can direct processed precisely where required; large pneumatic-tyred wheels make for easy manoeuvrability, and ensure stability during operation.
Also featured on the Sealey SWC420 is automatic in-feed, which saves time by allowing you to prepare the next branch, rather than standing over the machine and guiding the previous branch into the mechanism. This must have product features a 4″ cutting capacity so you can chop some of those larger branches.

This machine is a must for anyone with lots of tree waste to shred. It really does an amazing job. A friend has a cobra shredder, which looks like a toy next to this. It handles quite large branches and turns them into tiny shreds. With 60-70 mm branches it barely slows down. it will blast the shreds 3 m away into a pile or you can guide it down into a dumpy bag or similar.
