Setting the Mountfield 1330M Lawn Tractor apart from its vast array of competitors is its twin-bladed cutter deck, which is a rare feature on a lawn tractor with a cutting-width under 90cm.
Twin-blade decks have two clear advantages over their single-blade counterparts – firstly, they produce a neater, more consistent finish, even on undulating ground; and secondly, they offer greatly enhanced bagging performance, making it possible to mow damp grass with no blocking of the discharge chute.
The Mountfield T30M-1330 Lawn Tractor has been equipped with a high-capacity 414cc STIGA air-cooled four-stroke engine that’s rated at a muscular 8.4hp, and which benefits from STIGA’s fuel saving, emission cutting and noise reducing overhead-valve (OHV) technology.
Key engine features include a roomy six-litre petrol tank, which works with the engine’s excellent fuel economy to maximise productivity by limiting downtime; and an electric key starter, for fast, stress-free starting every single time. We even include the mulch plug and tow bar just to enhance the value with this machine!
The Mountfield 1330M Lawn Tractor offers the sort of versatility that’s essential for the management of typically variable British conditions – in addition to collecting clippings in the spacious 200-litre grassbag, you can elect to either rear-discharge them directly back onto the lawn surface, or mulch them and provide your lawn with a free organic feed*.
A seven-position cutting-height range and six-speed manual transmission (5+1) contribute further to flexibility of use.
The 84cm cutter deck on the compact Mountfield 1330M is fitted with a pair of gauge wheels, which prevent scalping and turf damage by supporting the deck when you’re manoeuvring on uneven terrain.
To prolong the life of the cutter deck, Mountfield have incorporated a clever little cleaning port. Simply click your Hozelock attachment to the deck wash, lower your deck, then when you turn the water on and engage your cutters, watch the magic happen whilst saving yourself the task!
From-the-seat grassbag emptying means you can save time by staying in the driving position when at the compost heap; a front-mounted bumper provides robust engine protection in the case of accidental impact.
