Power for the Stiga HT 525 Petrol Hedgetrimmer comes from a super-efficient, Stiga air-cooled two-stroke engine that outputs a sizeable, 0.9hp from a compact, 22.5cc displacement, and which blends an automatic choke with a digital coil and manual primer to ensure starting is rapid and ultra-reliable.

An effective paper-type air filter provides robust protection against premature component wear; a spacious, 0.26-litre tank combines with the engine’s excellent fuel economy to lessen the number and frequency of topping-up breaks.

The lengthy, 60cm blades on the Stiga HT 525 Petrol Hedgetrimmer are double sided with a substantial, 35mm tooth spacing and dual reciprocation; a combination that ensures a rapid work rate and super-clean cut through large-diameter branches.

The Stiga HT 525 Petrol Hedgetrimmer features a three-position rotating rear handle, so you can achieve the most comfortable angle of attack for the particular hedge you’re working on.

It’s fitted with a tip protector, which guards against blade damage when trimming close to walls and paving, and it utilises shock absorbing springs that work to manage vibration transfer, which in turn minimises fatigue in the hands and arms.
