Driving the Echo HCR-185ES Petrol Hedgetrimmer is a super-efficient and clean running, 21.2cc, air-cooled two-stroke engine, which utilises Echo’s Power Boost Tornado™ technology. This works to ensure maximum power output, and to minimise fuel costs, while at the same time delivering a substantial cut in unpleasant and environmentally damaging exhaust emissions.

A heavy-duty three-stage air filter provides optimum component protection and extends service life; a superior directional exhaust means hot gases are directed away from the hedge to avoid scorching and discolouration.

Other engine features include tool-free air filter access for straightforward in-the-field maintenance; and a roomy 0.37-litre fuel tank, which combines with the engine’s fuel efficient design to reduce the frequency of refuelling-breaks.

The Echo HCR-185ES has been equipped with a five-position adjustable rear handle for enhanced manoeuvrability and the comfortable creation of complex shapes (contributing further to ease of handling is a comprehensive vibration damping system).

It comes fitted with extra-long, 75cm, double sided, laser-cut blades, so a fast, clean cut is guaranteed, and it has a very generous, 35mm tooth pitch, which makes it possible to cut through larger branches with no worries about the ‘chewing’ that can lead to discolouration and infection.

Also featured is on the Echo HCR-185ES a throttle lockout switch for user safety.

Many of our smaller products are delivered from our warehouse using a delivery service like DPD, DX Etc, they will contact you via phone or text to arrange delivery. You can expect to receive your parcel as early as next day where possible.

If you’re buying a tractor or ride-on mower or larger item – a special order item – it could be slightly longer, as usually we might need to carry out a pre delivery inspection (PDI)  for the machine to ensure it is set up and working properly before you receive it. Please check the product for more accurate delivery times.

We do try use our own transport for these machines if we can, as this gives us a chance to demonstrate the product, and to ensure you’re happy and confident with your purchase.

If we can’t use our own transport for your machine, as you’re out of our delivery area, the machine will be sent on a pallet via a courage company. They will then contact you directly to book a specific day and time that suits you.
