At the heart of the Echo CS-621SX Petrol Chainsaw is a very high-capacity, 59.8cc air-cooled two-stroke motor that develops a massive, 4.5hp, and which incorporates Echo’s advanced engine technologies, whereby power output is maximised, while fuel costs and polluting exhaust emissions are minimised.

Quality engine features include a decompression valve for low-effort pull starts, and an easily accessible air filter for hassle-free in-the-field maintenance (simple side chain-tensioning also contributes to ease of maintenance).

To optimise user safety, the Echo CS-621SX Petrol Chainsaw has been fitted with a heavy-duty chain brake, which is activated instantaneously by inertia.

Clutch-driven chain lubrication works to eliminate mess and waste by shutting-off the oil flow at ‘idle’; a weight of only 6.2kg works with carefully considered ergonomics and a balance-optimised design to maximise user comfort.
