Scythe Bar Attachment

The scythe bar attachment is designed for efficiently cutting long grass, weeds, nettles and dense overgrown vegetation that can be difficult to manage with a conventional lawnmower. Its wide cutting action slices vegetation close to the base, making it ideal for paddocks, orchards, smallholdings, meadows and areas that are only maintained occasionally.

Designed for use with the Chipperfield HCT270P 2-Wheel Tractor, the attachment uses the machine’s power and traction to tackle demanding ground with greater ease. It leaves the cut material laid neatly behind the machine, ready for collection, drying or natural decomposition. A practical solution for quickly reclaiming and maintaining rough, overgrown land.

Many of our smaller products are delivered from our warehouse using a delivery service like DPD, DX Etc, they will contact you via phone or text to arrange delivery. You can expect to receive your parcel as early as next day where possible.

If you’re buying a tractor or ride-on mower or larger item – a special order item – it could be slightly longer, as usually we might need to carry out a pre delivery inspection (PDI)  for the machine to ensure it is set up and working properly before you receive it. Please check the product for more accurate delivery times.

We do try use our own transport for these machines if we can, as this gives us a chance to demonstrate the product, and to ensure you’re happy and confident with your purchase.

If we can’t use our own transport for your machine, as you’re out of our delivery area, the machine will be sent on a pallet via a courage company. They will then contact you directly to book a specific day and time that suits you.
