The Chipperfield CMTB80 Petrol Front-Tine Tiller is a powerful and versatile machine designed to make light work of preparing large areas of ground for planting and seeding. Ideal for gardeners, growers and smallholders, it combines strong performance with a generous working width to help you cover sizeable areas quickly and efficiently.

At the heart of the CMTB80 is a smooth-running 212cc air-cooled, four-stroke OHV petrol engine, producing an impressive 7hp. This power is transferred to the six four-tine rotors through an efficient belt-and-chain drive system, providing the torque required to tackle demanding ground and achieve effective cultivation.

With its impressive maximum 80cm working width, the CMTB80 is built for productivity. The wide cultivation area allows large plots to be worked quickly, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to prepare substantial areas of ground without the need for a larger, more cumbersome machine. For greater versatility, the outer set of tines can be removed to reduce the tilling width from 80cm to a compact 50cm, making it ideal for working in narrower areas.

A front-mounted transport wheel makes moving the tiller between storage and the working area simple, while the depth-adjustable brake shoe allows the operator to control the cultivation depth. This means the CMTB80 can be configured for deeper cultivation and ploughing, or lighter surface work such as weeding.

For improved manoeuvrability, the CMTB80 is equipped with reverse gear, making it easier to back out of tight corners and confined areas. It also provides a convenient way of freeing the machine should the tines dig into the ground too deeply.

Operator comfort and versatility are further enhanced by the adjustable handlebars. Their height can be altered to suit the individual operator, while lateral adjustment allows the CMTB80 to cultivate close alongside walls, fences and other boundaries.

Powerful, productive and easy to manoeuvre, the Chipperfield CMTB80 is a highly capable petrol tiller designed to take the hard work out of preparing larger areas of ground.

Many of our smaller products are delivered from our warehouse using a delivery service like DPD, DX Etc, they will contact you via phone or text to arrange delivery. You can expect to receive your parcel as early as next day where possible.

If you’re buying a tractor or ride-on mower or larger item – a special order item – it could be slightly longer, as usually we might need to carry out a pre delivery inspection (PDI)  for the machine to ensure it is set up and working properly before you receive it. Please check the product for more accurate delivery times.

We do try use our own transport for these machines if we can, as this gives us a chance to demonstrate the product, and to ensure you’re happy and confident with your purchase.

If we can’t use our own transport for your machine, as you’re out of our delivery area, the machine will be sent on a pallet via a courage company. They will then contact you directly to book a specific day and time that suits you.
